Part 2 of who knows how many. Character is Sophia Hamato/Moretti, one of my main TMNT OCs from my fanfic series 'Cause and Effect'. Confused as to why I call her "Soap"? Well, it's a nickname she adopts a while into the series. :3
* Warning: the following contains spoilers for the series, if you cared *
#1: Love this pose, so I couldn't pass it up. It's 100% Soap-like.
#2: I wanna turn this into a "photo" and add it to a virtual corkboard. Also, she tends to draw on herself. Any stars or hearts you see are not tattoos.
Age 1: First word Soap learned? "No". She said it to everything, unless she was offered ice cream.
Age 7: Nothing matches and that's just how she liked it at that age. Funnier yet? She was pretending to be a super villain.
#3: Little heroine angst. A lost battle? Perhaps. She takes failure hard.
#4: I gotta thank :senshi-stock: for this pose inspiration. It isn't true to the picture that inspired it, but it gave me a great start. And I will use it in a poster. Later. Oh, and it's Soap's vigilante outfit. Starberry Girl.
#5: Mikey, AKA Turtle Titan (or "Figo", according to Soap), being all hero-esque. Soap can hold her own. Unfortunately, her terrible temper gets her in trouble. So that's where Mikey has to swoop in.
#6: Gothic!Soap. There was a time in her life where she was as dark as can be. Age 9-13. She kept the black and pink theme from that "arch" in her life, but is more cutsey now. I like her in both styles, though.
2012: Like Nia's, an old sketch that's been sitting around for months...
Hero AU: An alternate Hero!Soap from an AU TMNT story I'm writing, "Morphosis". Not much different from my Cause and Effect Soap, honestly. I just like outfits.
AU (1 and 2): She was so much fun! I'm seriously gunna start another universe at this rate. ROFL But for now, it's just fun. A "What if?" scenario.
Photoshop had crashed on me before I could save my progress on a group picture I was drawing, so I started this to ease my pain. Character is Nia Hamato/Anders, one of my main TMNT OCs from my fanfic series 'Cause and Effect'.
* Warning: the following contains many spoilers for the series, if you cared *
#1: I may turn this into some medallion art. Not sure yet. It depicts the two sides she's constantly trying to balance: her human side and her alien side.
#2: Not quite "cannon", but I love drawing her this way. Her alien blood isn't so much a "power" as it is a constant internal adversary. When she's too mentally weak to keep it in check, she looses control. The result, not so pretty--especially for any electronics and organics around her.
Age 1: Baby Nia was born brown-skinned, and I wanted to draw it. Seems so weird. LOL.
Age 7: This is the age where her skin began to change. From 7 - 13 it fluctuated between light and dark and all in between before settling on the 'markings' she has from then on. This is due to her being half alien, since her alien parent didn't have skin pigmentation.
Hero AU: Her dual eye colors won't happen in 'Cause and Effect' until the end of Book 5: Heroes (currently being posted), but in an AU TMNT story I'm writing, "Morphosis", she has them already. Her origin's slightly different in it, so I've been considering giving her powers and making her a fighter.
AU (1 and 2): Couldn't help myself here. What if Nia had been a mutant turtle? Why, she'd look like a little calico with gaudy jewelry! Now I wanna draw her as a turtle more often. XD
#3: No, that's not a microphone she's holding. I had no will to make it distinguishable yet. It's a statue, which would mean a lot more to you if you had read the series. Heh. I like this pose a lot and have started a poster with it.
#4: Fluff with her hubby. Also need to draw more fluff. Like fluff.
Forget that fugly hand; I should've erased it gah
#5: Nia adores heights and is a night owl, so she and Raph often spend hours sitting on roof ledges, talking. It's calming for both of them.
2012: This is an old sketch that's been sitting around for months. Nia in Nick's style. :3
#6: I may turn this into a finished picture as well. Was inspired by a pose I had seen somewhere. It fit her very well, seeing as how painting is her livelihood.
Now I'm doing a page like this for all my TMNT characters...Oh boy. XD
I am a high school graduate seeking online career possibilities as an illustrator or comic writer. Possibly even a Graphic Designer. Not quite sure yet. Currently, I am taking art classes at a local community college, building up my skills so that I may one day be able to master realism, find my own style, and push my abilities further than ever imagined. |
My inspiration is drawn from fantasy artists like Ed Org and Stephanie Law. I also love to make fan-characters, which 90% of my gallery consists of...
